Glamping with Alpacas
Minutes from Guelph, the Meadowlark Hut offers you an alpaca farm adventure set in a private oasis of Maple forest and meadow. This new tiny A frame hut features a window wall with beautiful views bringing glamping and farm stays to the next level. The Meadowlark has been carefully and thoughtfully designed with your comfort in mind. A hidden gem offering tranquil harmony and ultimate privacy as you relax in the hammocks, watch alpacas play, and end the perfect day sitting by an outdoor fire.
The Space
The Meadowlark is at the back of our 25 acre farm, Brae Ridge Farm & Sanctuary, giving you complete privacy with the benefits of having us onsite to answer any questions. You are the only overnight guests.
A short walk (3 min) is required to get to your hut. Your belongings can be transported for you, if needed.
The tiny hut is completely off grid with solar panels offering lighting and phone charging.
There is no WIFI.
The hut includes a small kitchenette with a sink, and all cooking supplies you may need during your stay. We have an assortment of novels and boardgames available for your entertainment during rainy days or downtime. A climb up the ladder brings you to a loft where you will sink into a memory foam double mattress with bamboo sheets and an explosion of pillows with a window to watch the forest canopy as you fall into a blissful sleep.
Surrounded by a maple forest and wildflower meadows you can find hammocks, an assortment of outdoor games, a barbeque for cooking as well as a fire pit suited with a couple of Adirondack chairs.
A very clean and bright bathroom structure with a high end compostable toilet and vanity with pump water is located just outside the hut. There are no shower facilities.
We offer 30% savings on our sought after private farm tours (weekdays) and Yoga with Alpacas (weekend mornings) to our overnight guests which can be booked by contacting us before your stay.
